..so now, I'd be expected to say something noteworthy. I went through all the junk mail, threw out some that I had no interest in, saved some to enjoy at a later date which actually is piling up at quite a clip, pushed that pile into the other pile, and then came in to read and delete my junk email. Where does it go when I delete it? Into cyberspace? Ha, ha, we didn't have cyberspace when I was growing up. Just regular space.
That's just the beginning ... what about the housework, so I can go to bed and start all over tomorrow? who will help me pick the corn? who will help me grind the wheat? and now you want a piece of cake? Dream on!
I was disappointed when I realized this week for my husband's birthday, that I had done what any fourth-grader would do, I got him a cake that he didn't care for but that I did. This week the idea that I am on a diet went straight to H-E double hockey sticks. I thought he'd like it, he didn't turn it down, but he wasn't totally ecstatic about it like I was. so every evening this week, I've had a big piece of cake for dessert. Then I made a mental note, *bing* to do some hellacious physical efforts to make up for it, but it hasn't happened yet... then I got all up about having my own blog! Is this how the Huffington post got started? Well, that's all for now, though, and it's all Katie's fault!
At least blogging is fun...right? It is a great way to keep in touch with people that are hard to keep in touch with. My brothers and sisters live so far away; blogging keep sus in touch with the little things that go on.
ReplyDeleteYeah, sorry I lost the link to my own blog, so it took a year or so to get back here. Yes, I love it, or maybe I will, I sorta forgot the whole blog thing, but now I'll bookmark it so it shouldn't go anywhere. *whew*
